feist video

music: feist live

del.icio.us only likes URL that start with "http," so I had to come here to post this:

video for Feist's "One Evening"

(requires windows media player to view)

It's a shame that great, quirky little videos like this will never meet the eyeballs of the American public.

more videos can be found on Feist's website.

her album is coming out in the states later this month (finally).

update: oh wow, a bunch more cool videos courtesy of fimoculous:

-- futureshock - late at night
-- bloc party - banquet
-- interpol - c'mere

You need Much Music. It's not great, but it kicks MTV's ass.

Yeah, I used to get it with my cable package, but no longer :( I agree it's much better, but there is a sizeable amount of Canadian crap as well. That law you guys have about playing a certain % of Canadian music is pretty funny.

I agree with you, there is a lot of Canadian crap, and we seem to export the crappiest of crap. I also agree with the Cancon laws being odd, but if it wasn't for those laws I doubt that much of the good Canadian stuff would get airplay over the American crap.

It's a hotly debated issue here and people will get really worked up over it. There are just so many sides to the issue it's impossible to really settle what is right and what isn't, though I fully support the law.

Wait, nevermind. It works with totem-xine, too. So just in case any linux users don't really like mplayer (I don't really. I'd rather use VLC or Totem)...totem is a go!

And damn, that woman really reminds me of an ex-girlfriend. That was fun to watch. Although on the close-up shots she looks more like hillary swank than my ex. But when she dances she looks like the ex.

The look of the video and the chanteuse herself, tres yummy.

Like Goddard meets, the Herb Alpert whipped cream girl. I have to take a cold shower now.

That Bloc Party song seems to hit exactly my resonant frequency... I just can't sit (keep) still through that one. I was going to comment that they must've filmed the video in Seattle, cos the crowd are mostly stone-faced and unmoving, but then towards the end some people are actually jumping up & down.

this song made the entire venue move in Seattle surprisingly. Definitely their biggest crowd pleaser to date.
